Our “OJUJU” Nabs “Best Nigerian Film” Award (See Photos)
So we won at the just concluded Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), held in the beautiful Calabar, Cross River State, where our no-budget effort “OJUJU” had its first official public screening. It was indeed a tremendously glorious night, with industry heavy hitters in attendance. We are very humbled by this honour bestowed upon us by the amiable AFRIFF jury, and we appreciate the audience who gave us an outstanding reception at the first and second screening of our film, filling the hall in their numbers and cheering along in thrill and delightful hysteria. We promise to go back to the drawing board and come up with better quality work for you to delight in once more. Unending appreciation goes to the heroic cast and crew of “OJUJU”, who braved on in spite of all the odds, and even when no rewards where in the horizon! You are all gods in our eyes! Hearty regards from all of us at Fiery Film and God’s blessings on you all! Long live Afrikan Cinema!
